About The Pool Fool
We help players find a good table: pool halls and bars with pool tables, city by city.
Why we built this
Search "bars with pool tables near me" and you get a map full of bars that may or may not have a table, and no way to filter by the things players care about. We built the list we wanted: every pool hall and bar with pool tables, with the details that matter.
How we find venues
- We start with public business listings and look for venues categorized as pool halls or billiards clubs.
- We add bars where players' reviews consistently mention pool tables, darts and other games.
- We remove venues listed as permanently closed and refresh listings regularly.
- Today we cover 4180 venues across 50 cities, and we're adding more.
What players care about
According to our bar expert, players choose a spot based on, in order: the number of tables, the price, whether you can reserve a table, and table size. We show what we can verify today (reservations and price level) and are adding table counts and sizes venue by venue.
